Literally meaning “Naples splitter” since it seems to divide the city in two parts, it certainly deserves its UNESCO World Heritage status. This amazing district right in the Centro Storico brings the past to life with numerous picturesque narrow streets and monuments.

If you want to see really all about the Neapolitan Crib, the “presepe”, you should definitely visit the street of the nativity scene makers: San Gregorio Armeno, in Naples’s historic centre

The Maschio Angioino, also called Castel Nuovo, is an ancient castle built in medieval style and renovated in Renaissance style, is currently one of the most important symbols of teh city

Naples is full of history and culture. Our guide Mira helped us understand it within this short amount of time we had. She was extremely knowledgable about various locations in the city and planned a memorable course through the city. We saw Plazzas, palaces, cafes and baroque churches that tell the story of Naples.

Thank you so much for the amazing tour of Naples on Saturday Mira. We were lucky enough to have the tour guide to ourselves and she took us to so many amazing places. Mira spoke fantastic English and knew so much history of this fantastic city (Including time and cost of all the main attractions). She took us to places we would never have found on our own, up side streets and into churchs (free) adorned with the most gorgeous alfresco paintings floor to ceiling. Whilst walking Mira stopped regularly, allowing us to take photos, ask questions, stop to enjoy local delicacies and tell us about the beautiful city. Before she left us she made suggestions on places to eat, shop and the more special places to visit.

Good guide who gave a good introduction to Naples. I recommend this at the start of any trip to Naples, so that u can take time to explore some of the books and crannies that were pointed out during the tour later on on your own.

I don't remember our tour guide's name, but she was just awful. The tour guide rushed us would not let us take our time, we literally would have to run to catch up to her and there was an older couple that left the tour because they just couldn't keep up. Mind you, there were only 5 of us in the group and 2 dropped out so it wasn't like she was rushing for others. She was rude and also insisted we not get her in any pictures (but wouldn't offer to take any of us like most guides do) and she would go as far as to check our phones to make sure she wasn't in any pictures. She then left us without even saying goodbye or helping us get back to where we needed to be (not even a point in the right direction in a foreign country we were just stopping for a cruise in). Between the running and rushing we were not able to enjoy Naples. I do NOT recommend this tour.

The tour guide was very experienced and interesting. But the tour was delivered in 2 languages English and Italian. If I knew this I would not take it. But I got the money worth of the time, I can not complain.
