Why Choose A Walking Tour Guide
This Grand Canyon South Rim Bus tour from Las Vegas includes a walking tour guide that points out exciting canyon viewpoints and sites. Your guide knows where all of the best photo opportunities are, and the hidden Grand Canyon scenery. Your tour guide will point out local wildlife and native plant species. Book this tour for a fun day that will leave you impressed with the guides knowledge and friendly narration of the tour’s best highlights.
The South Rim Tour Itinerary
The first stop is at the Grand Canyon Caverns just off of Route 66. Here you can relax and explore, or choose to take an optional 40-minute guided tour of the caverns. This tour leads you underground to see the huge caverns while your guide explains the history and formation of the site. Your trip continues with pleasant landscape views throughout the Mojave Desert until you reach your next destination, the Grand Canyon South Rim.
Arriving At The Grand Canyon
Once you arrive at the Grand Canyon South Rim, your walking tour guide will lead you along the Rim Trail to get all the best viewpoints. Starting at Mather Point in Grand Canyon National Park, and ending at Bright Angel Lodge, you will spend about 3 hours total inside the park. If you prefer, our luxury bus will take you to each point, or you can walk along the paved road between the two points with your tour guide and enjoy the breathtaking views. Along the Trail Of Time, your guide will point out some of the most mesmerizing photo sites.
The Drive From Grand Canyon To Las Vegas
After visiting all the points of interest on the South Rim, we will begin the trip back to Las Vegas. Along the route, we will also make an additional stop where you can choose to purchase dinner while stretching your legs before the final drive back to Vegas.
See The Hoover Dam At Night
For one last amazing memory, keep your eyes open and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Hoover Dam as we drive over the Mike O’Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge. Also known as the Hoover Dam Bypass Bridge, driving across it at night allows passengers to view the Hoover Dam illuminated in lights against the dark night background.
Returning To Las Vegas
Then see the Las Vegas Valley skyline glowing at night as we descend into the valley. The average hotel arrival time is around 9:30 PM. If you have to choose just one excursion from Las Vegas, let it be a Grand Canyon South Rim Bus Tour with your own walking tour guide!
